The Man From History That We Need To Generate Sustainable Affordable Energy

bryan@dijkhuizenmedia.comJune 28, 2022July 10, 2022

Nikola Tesla was a revolutionary when we’re talking about energy and electricity, perhaps the most outstanding scientist of his time and maybe even of all time.

In our daily lives, we need energy all day. We basically can’t live without it. Nowadays, it’s getting more challenging to bring affordable energy and electricity to keep us going.

Most of the younger people around don’t even know Nikola Tesla, the only thing that rings a bell is his last name (Tesla Motors).

Tesla had some ideas about infinite and “free energy”, and we could have used his knowledge about energy and electricity so much right now — most people described him as “insane”, but maybe in modern times, his ideas could have delivered us something.

Tesla’s Education and Early Working Experience

Tesla was born in 1856, in what we now call Croatia, in a small town called Smiljan. He was one kid in a family of five and went to primary and middle school like every other kid at the time.

But he was very interested in things that had to do with electricity and electromagnetism.

In 1875, he went to the Graz University of Technology, one of the best technical schools in the complete Austria-Hungarian empire at the time. He never completed his study and didn’t graduate, even though the teachers liked him and had the faith he would become a great technician.

As he dropped out, he didn’t contact his family and they thought he was dead.

In 1881, Tesla started working for the famous Hungarian inventor Tivadar Puskás at a The Telephone Exchange company in Budapest where he did many great things to improve the equipment of the company.

When he moved to the United States in the summer of 1884, he started working for Edison Machine Works, at the request of famous Thomas Edison,

After just a couple of months, he quit the company to start working on his own ideas.

Tesla Working Out His Own Ideas Of Alternative Current

After he started working for himself, he developed an idea for new lighting systems and improved generators — he found some investors and he put it all into a company called Tesla Electric Light and Manufacturing.

In Europe, there are many coal power stations and they cause much trouble due to the big amount of bad substances they put into the air — Tesla hated this and wanted to think of something that was clean and free for everyone.

He believed that on the planet it is possible to extract energy from an endless stream of energy by tapping it — it would be clean and of course, free because it is unlimitedly available.

But he could never prove this theory.

He even wanted to transport electricity without any cables or other connection methods — the first wireless connection perhaps?

There’s always one argument that pops up when you look up Tesla’s unlimited energy theory.

That’s that his plans weren’t allowed to be finished because then the electricity firms couldn’t make huge profits for the people — there’s some truth in there right? All those big companies only care about the money they can make.

What’s wrong with free and clean energy?

Let me know what you think about Nikola Tesla and who you think we need to solve the energy problems
